My apologies for the lack of updates of late. I’ve been continually busy with client work but I’m unable to post images of the covers until the books are out on the shelves. Many of the covers lately are a little darker (both artistically and in subject matter) with zombies, vampires, those who hunt vampires, and even fallen angels.  Admittedly, that’s one the many things that I love about being a freelance illustrator.  When that phone rings, you never know what you might be working on next.  In the morning I may work on a romance novel, in the afternoon I could switch to an urban fantasy with a strong heroine character, and I might wrap up the day with zombies.  It definitely takes a bit of practice to switch the mindset around, but I love the variety.

I should be able to show off some more new work in about 4 – 6 weeks and I’m also exploring some new illustration territory that I hope to unveil around the same time.
